we.were.found stands as a distinctive streetwear brand, born from the creative vision of Teg Watson, a 15-year-old Ethiopian-American hailing from Thousand Oaks, California. Rooted in his Ethiopian heritage, Teg aspires to bridge cultures and styles by infusing the rich tapestry of Ethiopian culture into the fabric of American fashion. With Found, Teg offers more than just clothing; he crafts narratives and conveys messages through each stitch and design. For him, fashion transcends mere aesthetics; it embodies a way of life, a philosophy. Found Apparel is not just about what you wear; it's about the story you carry and the message you project. As an infant, Teg Watson was found on the roadside in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was given the name Tegegn, meaning “we were found.”

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
